The Ayiroor Village Service Co-operative Bank was registered and started its functioning on 1958. From 1972, with all premises, we reformed the institution into ayiroor village service cooperative bank. Presently the bank is working as class 1 (special grade) bank. The Ayiroor Village Service Co-operative Bank has its working jurisdiction covers an area of 18 km2 of Ayiroor Village (Elakamon panchayath), that has a population of 25307. The bank has its headquarters at Ayiroor and its branches at Ayiroor, Chavercode and Thonippara.

The bank has developed and applied aim full functionalities to promote moderation, self-awareness and mutual understanding among the members.
